  Coaching Plans

In order to best fit your needs, I offer several coaching programs, as well as one-on-one sessions. These programs range from the Ultimate package down to the Economy package. In addition to triathlon training, I train athletes in running, swimming, and cycling. I also offer fitness plans and strength training routines for clients who aren't looking to compete, but who want to get in better shape.

Each program begins with an initial consultation. There are no long term committments for any of my coaching plans - you are free to leave at any time. Bear in mind, however, that the best results will be realized by staying in the program for the long term.

Initial Consultation - One time fee of $50

Each program begins with an initial consultation through an e-mail questionnaire. During this time, I gather as much information about your athletic past and present, and where you want to go in the future. The more information I have to work with, the better your training plan will fit for you. The initial consultation gives us a starting point and lays out a roadmap for where your athletic journey is going.


Ultimate Package - $240 per 4 weeks; $465 per 8 weeks; $680 per 12 weeks

My  top of the line coaching package maximizes communication between athlete/coach and is the most effective training program I offer.  Here are the details of this plan:

- You receive personalized training schedules consisting of daily workouts describing the specific duration, intensity levels, and goals of the day.

- Training schedule is e-mailed to you in 2 week blocks.

- You recieve a detailed list and description of drills for each sport that will help improve technique and efficiency.

- You recieve an overview of your year-long plan, outlining the goals of each phase.

- You will be provided advice for nutrition before, during, and after training and target races.

- You have unlimited access to me through e-mail and phone, as needed.  In addition, we have a scheduled telephone conversation once every two weeks.

- Athletes enrolled in the Ultimate training program can schedule one-on-one sessions at no additional charge.

- No long-term committment is required.


Deluxe Package - $160 per 4 weeks; $310 per 8 weeks; $450 per 12 weeks

This program is directed more towards those athletes who want the personalized coaching, but don't necessarily need as much guidance. Here are the details:

   
- You receive personalized training schedules consisting of daily workouts describing the specific duration, intensity levels, and goals of the day. 

-Training schedule is e-mailed to you in 4 week blocks.

- You receive a list and description of drills for each sport that will help improve technique and efficiency. 

- Unlimited e-mail and phone access to me, as needed.

- There is one scheduled phone conversation per 4 week training block.

- You receive an overview of your annual plan with if you sign up for 2 or more 4 week blocks.

- Athletes enrolled in the Deluxe training program can schedule one-on-one sessions for 50% of the normal cost. 

- No long-term committment is required.


Economy Package - $95 per 4 weeks; $180 per 8 weeks; $260 per 12 weeks

This package is designed for the athlete who wants coaching and their own training plan, but is working on a tight budget. It includes:

- Personalized training schedules consisting of daily workouts describing the specific duration, intensity levels, and goals of the day.

- Training plans are e-mailed to the athlete in 4 week blocks.

- A list and description of drills that will help improve technique and efficiency.

- The athlete is free to e-mail me with questions at any time in the training cycle.

- Athletes participating in the Economy training program get a 25% discount for scheduled one-on-one sessions.

-No long-term committment is required.


One-on-One Sessions - $50 per hour

I also offer one-on-one sessions with athletes. These sessions can be in-person or conducted over the phone. These sessions vary in scope. Here are some examples of what we can do in these sessions:
   
- A conversation about your training, nutrition, goals, or race strategy, or anything else you want advice on.

- An actual coached swim, bike, run, or combined workout.

- An in-water stroke analysis and technique session.

- A session working on triathlon specific skills such as open water swimming or transitions.
